Highfields Manor is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join our team and help create meaningful and enjoyable experiences for our residents.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older people and helping them remain connected, active and engaged in daily life.

About the Role

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will work alongside our Lifestyle team to support a varied program of activities and social experiences for our residents.

Your day may include:

- Supporting group activities such as bingo, exercise, crafts, games, music and karaoke
- Spending one‑on‑one time with residents and supporting individual interests
- Helping organise and participate in bus outings, special events and celebrations
- Encouraging residents to participate in activities and socialise with others
- Supporting residents to maintain connections with family, friends and the community
- Assisting with setting up and packing away activities
- Helping create a fun, welcoming and inclusive workplace
- Getting to know our residents and understanding their individual interests, stories and preferences




- Working as part of a supportive Lifestyle and care team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Warm, friendly and genuinely enjoys working with older people
- Creative, energetic and enthusiastic
- Patient, compassionate and respectful
- Confident engaging with residents and families
- Comfortable leading or assisting with group activities
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Willing to get involved and have a bit of fun

Experience in aged care, lifestyle or community services is highly regarded, but we are also interested in people with the right attitude and personality who want to make a difference.
