26 Paws is a boutique grooming salon located at Westfield Chermside and the first of its kind in a major Australian shopping centre. We sit right next door to our dog-friendly café, Table 26, creating a space where the whole family, four-legged members included, feels welcome.

We're looking for an experienced groomer to join us, and we're happy to work around your availability.

What you'll do

n

You'll be at the heart of the 26 Paws experience.



You'll groom and style a variety of popular breeds to a high standard, build lasting relationships with dogs and their owners, offer honest advice on coat care and grooming, and make sure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best.

You'll also help keep the salon clean, organised and running smoothly.

About you

n

n
- At least 2 years' skilled grooming experience, including breed-specific styling
n
- Confident with bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring and finishing
n
- Able to work at an efficient pace without compromising quality or safety
n
- Calm, patient and confident handling dogs of different temperaments
n
- Warm and clear when communicating with customers in person, by phone and by email
n
- Comfortable using an online booking system (we use MoeGo)
n
- A solid understanding of workplace health and safety for both you and the dogs
n
- Reliable, proactive and proud of your work, whether working independently or as part of a team
n

Certificate III in Animal Care Services and Grooming is preferred, but not essential for candidates with solid industry experience.
