As a Project Manager, you will have some of the following tasks:

- Deliver projects from end to end
- Provide mentoring and skills development for staff in the project team
- Deliver projects in line with standards and building specifications
- Oversee compliance and HSEQ
- Ensure the programs are met
- Take over financial responsibility of the budget meeting the project scope
- Liaise with various stakeholders
- Reporting on progress and conducting weekly meetings

Are you a fit?
To be considered successful for this role, you will be an experienced Project Manager having worked for commercial builders within Australia. You will self driven and autonomous, you will have experience using project management software and be capable with computers ideally with experience with Procore and MS Projects for example. If you have experience with DIT projects or Defence projects, or Retail/ Hospitality that will be an added benefit, but not essential experience.

The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a large portfolio of complex infrastructure programs and projects within a client-side environment. You will play a key role in influencing outcomes across the project lifecycle by working collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Success in this role will rely on your ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders including asset owners, construction partners, designers, vendors, regulators, and community representatives. You will navigate competing priorities and expectations to drive alignment, manage risk, budget and achieve successful project outcomes.
As a key member of this team, you will be required to:
Lead multi-disciplinary projects with subject matter experts, client representatives and delivery partners.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with cost, technical, environmental, operational, and social requirements.
Contribute to the progress of design development, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases across multiple concurrent projects or programs through a variety of contractual models.
Support continuous improvement of project and program management capabilities, systems and processes.
Identify and implement improvements in ways of working that benefit individuals, teams, or the broader program.
Analyse issues and risks to understand cause and assess impact.

Who are you?
To succeed in this opportunity the skills and experience required are:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering,



Project Management or relevant infrastructure industry experience.
Demonstrated experience as a client-side or consultant Project Manager, with a solid understanding of scope, risk, scheduling, cost, and construction management.
Strong communication and reporting skills with experience working across diverse stakeholder groups.
Understanding of various delivery/contractual models and legislative WHS requirements.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in reporting.

About the Role





The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving the performance and continued uplift of Discovery Resorts - Wilpena.

Leading a team of approximately 60, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of this large, multifaceted property. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for an energetic leader who can think quickly, solve problems and bring people together to deliver outstanding results.

With exposure across accommodation, tours, Food & Beverage, retail, maintenance and guest services, this is an exceptional opportunity to broaden your operational expertise, make your mark and accelerate your progression towards future senior leadership opportunities.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, engage and develop a large team, creating a positive, accountable and high-performing culture.
- Oversee daily operations across accommodation, tours, Food & Beverage, retail, maintenance and guest services.
- Work closely with the General Manager to deliver budgets, control costs and improve commercial performance.
- Manage rostering, recruitment and workforce planning across a fast-paced, seven-day operation.
- Oversee stock receiving, ordering, inventory control and supplier coordination.
- Ensure maintenance, property works, WHS and operational compliance requirements are effectively managed.
- Maintain strong service standards across tours and guest experiences, using feedback and guest surveys to identify improvements.
- Be a visible, hands-on leader who can quickly resolve challenges and keep the entire operation moving.

About You

We're seeking a confident, results-driven hospitality leader with the resilience and focus to thrive in a complex remote operation. Highly organised and commercially minded, you'll lead from the front, solve problems decisively and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Most importantly, you’ll be ready to take ownership.

To be successful you will have:

- Proven leadership experience within a resort, tourism, accommodation or large hospitality operation.
- Current RSA, RP accreditation and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain them.
- A Medium Rigid license or higher is highly regarded.
- Experience with H&L; or similar Food & Beverage systems, along with RMS or a comparable property management system.
- Experience leading and developing large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in rostering, recruitment, budgeting, reporting and cost control.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to assess challenges and act quickly.
- Sound commercial judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
