About the role

Morson Edge is partnering with an established Australian electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its Sydney team. The business delivers electrical and building services projects across commercial, government, industrial and critical infrastructure environments, with a strong pipeline of repeat work from long-standing clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage electrical projects from planning through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and procurement.
- Manage programmes, budgets, forecasting, variations and cost control.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project documentation, QA, WHS and compliance requirements.




- Manage project risks and ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.

About You

- Electrical trade background.
- Proven Electrical Project Management experience.
- Strong commercial construction, infrastructure or building services experience.
- Experience delivering works within live operational environments highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including switchboards, generators, UPS and distribution.
- Confident managing clients, subcontractors and project teams.
- Strong commercial and problem-solving capability.

Projects

Projects are typically delivered within existing and live operational facilities, covering electrical upgrades, refurbishments and infrastructure works involving switchboards, power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting and associated electrical services.
