About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and investigative Forensic Accountant to join their dedicated team on a remote basis. This role is critical in uncovering financial irregularities, fraud, and misconduct through detailed analysis and investigation. You will work on complex cases, providing expert financial evidence and reports to support legal proceedings or internal investigations. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive financial investigations into suspected fraud, asset misappropriation, and financial irregularities.
- Analyze financial data, identify anomalies, and trace financial transactions to uncover evidence of wrongdoing.
- Prepare detailed forensic accounting reports, summarizing findings and providing expert opinions.
- Assist in litigation support, including providing expert witness testimony in court.




- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and internal controls.
- Collaborate with legal counsel, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing; Forensic Accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA) with forensic focus, CFE) is essential.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in forensic accounting or fraud investigation.
- Strong understanding of investigative techniques, data analysis tools, and relevant legal frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent report writing and communication abilities, with experience in presenting complex findings clearly.
