About the role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we have excellent prospect for experienced Maintenance Fitter, for Afternoon Shift at our Wyong Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for routine maintenance and checks, identifying and attending to defective equipment and responding to mechanical breakdowns.

Responsibilities of this position include

Responding to and managing breakdowns in a timely manner.

Troubleshooting and problem solving with minimal disruption to production.

Designing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Assist in the development of key performance indicators.

Manage the operations and related activities of the maintenance team.





Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet operational targets.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

Manage contract workers as required

To be successful for this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

At a minimum you will be trade qualified as a maintenance fitter.

You will be able to pull on prior experience in an FMCG company where you have worked autonomously.

Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving

A restricted electrical license would be highly regarded, though not essential.

You must be self-motivated, inquisitive and proactive in your work.

The flexibility in regard to working hours which may include working overtime and weekends

High level of numeracy and literacy skills
