Bright Start Supports is a growing disability support service dedicated to empowering people with disability to build independence, achieve their goals, and actively participate in their communities. About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. This role involves providing both one-on-one and group supports to NDIS participants with varying support needs, assisting them to develop skills, increase independence, and engage in meaningful community activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and the community.
- Deliver both individual (1:1) and group-based supports.
- Assist participants with daily living activities and community access.
- Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and increase independence.
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and incident reports as required.
- Promote participant choice, dignity,



and inclusion at all times.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals.
- Previous experience working in disability support, including both individual and group supports.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- Training and experience in:
- Personal Care
- Medication Administration
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field.
- Experience supporting participants with complex support needs.
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support practices.
