The Role

We are seeking a teacher who ideally pursues excellence in teaching, has high expectations and truly believes that all children can be successful learners. The successful applicant would be self-reflective practitioners who is committed to building a culture of professional growth and improvement. They should be committed to gather,



analyse and assess system, whole-school and classroom-based student achievement data to make evidence-based decisions about teaching practice, with a relentless focus on improving outcomes for all students. Applicants are therefore encouraged to show how they use high expectations of behavioural and academic achievement to engage students with disabilities and challenging behaviours. The successful applicant will ideally be motivated, possess the ability to teach Australian Sign Language (Auslan) in a primary setting and will be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum. As an Auslan teacher, you should deliver a differentiated curriculum which meets the needs of all students and have an expectation that all students can reach their potential. We are looking for a teacher who aspires for academic excellence and are committed to high-quality teaching and learning. Teaching practices must align with the Whole School Instructional Model, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all learning areas.
