About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on various project sites in and around Queenstown . This hands-on role is critical for ensuring that construction work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications and quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact on site, coordinating with contractors, supervising workforces, and ensuring project milestones are met. This position requires a strong presence at the project site, direct problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction outcomes in a dynamic field setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets specified standards and construction best practices.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements for site implementation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely progress.




- Identify and resolve site issues and technical challenges promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety logs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant diploma.
- 2-4 years of experience in site supervision and construction management.
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and leadership skills for effective site coordination.
