The Opportunity

This is a hands-on Airfreight Billing / Invoicing position suited to someone who understands the freight forwarding environment and is comfortable working across the financial side of international shipments. You'll be responsible for ensuring files are correctly rated, finalised and invoiced, while working closely with operations, customers, suppliers and overseas agents to resolve any issues along the way.

What you'll be doing

- Managing the billing process across a portfolio of airfreight files
- Checking rates, costs and revenue to ensure jobs are billed correctly and remain profitable
- Preparing and finalising billing files and sending completed documentation to customers
- Processing and checking AR and AP invoices
- Working with Operations and other internal teams to resolve billing / invoicing queries
- Assisting with month-end processes and reportingManaging invoicing queries through a shared mailbox and keeping communication moving




- Processing profit-share arrangements where required
- Ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time

What we're looking for

- Freight forwarding experience, ideally with exposure to airfreight
- Previous experience in billing / invoicing, finance administration, or a similar freight forwarding role
- Solid attention to detail and a genuine focus on getting the numbers right
- Good understanding of job profitability and freight forwarding processes
- CargoWise experience would be highly regarded
- Comfortable working with internal teams, customers, suppliers and overseas agents
- Someone who takes ownership rather than simply processing whatever lands in their inbox
- Accounting or finance experience is a bonus, but freight-forwarding knowledge is the key.
