Job Summary

Deliver and programme athletic performance training within Melbourne Fitness & Performance's high-performance and rehabilitation environment. The role includes individual and group coaching, athlete management, performance testing, reporting, integration with the performance and medical team, and potential management of coaches or interns.

This role aligns most closely with IQF Level 4 because the practitioner coaches and programmes individual and group athletes within an established private performance and rehabilitation facility, undertakes athlete management and performance testing, and may manage coaches or interns. The advert does not demonstrate full skilled accountability for an organisational performance function or independent leadership of a wider performance system. The employer makes a Bachelor of Exercise Science essential, which is above the qualification threshold IUSCA would normally consider necessary for a Level 4 role.
