Neema Nursing and Support Services is seeking an experienced NDIS Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join our growing team. This is a casual position based in Melbourne, VIC 3000, with an opportunity to convert to Full time based on KPI.
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing current business opportunities within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) landscape, whilst building and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in expanding Neema's presence in the disability support sector, driving growth through collaborative relationships and innovative service delivery models. This position is critical to our organisational objectives of scaling our NDIS-funded services and strengthening our market position in disability support.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities within the NDIS market, including potential service expansions and partnership arrangements
- Developing and implementing business development strategies to attract new NDIS participants and increase service uptake
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with disability service providers, local government bodies, community organisations, and key NDIS stakeholders
- Preparing proposals, tender documents and business cases for new NDIS opportunities and partnership arrangements
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with partnership commitments and contractual obligations
- Monitoring and reporting on business development activities, partnership outcomes and key performance indicators
- Providing market insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic planning
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in business development,
partnerships within the disability support, forensic mental health, child protection or community services sector
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, scheme requirements and how to navigate the NDIS landscape effectively
- Demonstrated success in identifying business opportunities and building strategic partnerships
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences
- Experience in market analysis, competitive positioning and strategic planning
- Knowledge of disability support service models and participant-centred approaches
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in forensic mental health and child protection is highly desirable but not mandatory
