We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join Territory True Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a strong passion for food, demonstrated food preparation and cooking skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

n

This role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to work collaboratively with café and kitchen staff, and a focus on preparing and cooking consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining appropriate standards of food presentation, hygiene and safe food handling.

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

n

- Preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to café standards and recipes.
n
- Checking food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes.
n




- Keeping the kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised.
n
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures and using kitchen equipment safely.
n
- Monitoring stock and advising management when supplies need replenishing.
n
- Working with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
n
- Supporting participants to develop practical workplace and hospitality skills.
n

Applicants must have:

n

n
- Relevant trade qualification AQF Certificate IV with at least one year of relevant experience. Alternatively, at least three years of full-time relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
n
- Sound food safety and hygiene practices.
n
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time during busy periods.
n
- Ability to work effectively with other team members.
n

A salary of $70,000 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate
