Zest Building is a locally owned building company based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We specialise in delivering high-quality residential and commercial building and joinery projects, with a robust focus on quality workmanship, attention to detail and doing things well.

1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Cabinet Maker

Working alongside our experienced team, you’ll gain practical experience across a range of joinery and building projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career in the industry.

The Role

- Assisting with the manufacture and installation of joinery
- Working with timber, cabinetry and other materials
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Reading plans and taking measurements
- Assisting with installations on residential building projects
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop and worksite
- Learning from experienced tradespeople and developing your skills

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is currently undertaking, or looking to start, a Cabinet Maker Apprenticeship
- Has a genuine interest in woodworking and joinery
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and work as directed




- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is committed to developing their skills and becoming a qualified tradesperson
- Has a White Card or willing to get one before they begin
- Has a current NSW Drivers Licence

Previous experience is not essential for the right person. A willingness to learn and a good attitude are what matter most.
