About the role:

As a Workday Data Manager, you will lead data strategy, migration, and governance for large-scale Workday implementations and transformations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and business-aligned data solutions across HR and Finance platforms.

You will own end-to-end data delivery, oversee complex data landscapes, and lead teams to deliver data-driven insights and transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Workday data workstreams, including data strategy, migration, validation, and governance.
- Define enterprise data architecture and frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across systems.
- Engage senior stakeholders to align data strategy with business objectives and transformation goals.
- Oversee data conversion, cleansing, and validation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across complex datasets.
- Establish and manage data governance frameworks, including standards, controls,



and risk management.
- Lead and mentor delivery teams, providing guidance across analysts and consultants.
- Drive delivery governance, including financials, resourcing, risk mitigation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with functional and technical leads to ensure integrated, end-to-end solution delivery.
- Support business development activities, including proposals, solution shaping, and client presentations.

What you bring:

- Extensive experience delivering Workday data migration and data management solutions in enterprise environments.
- 4 years+ of specific Workday Data Conversion experience
- To reach a Manager level you will be required to have successfully delivered 6+ Workday Projects.
- Strong expertise in data migration tools, ETL processes, and Workday data structures.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex delivery programs.
- Experience defining and implementing data governance and quality frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
- Ability to solve complex data challenges and define scalable solution.

Additional preferred attributes:

- Workday certification (Data/Migration-related plus HCM, Financials, or).
- Consulting experience within large-scale transformation programs.
- Experience across HRIS or Finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).

As the resource will be accessing sensitive data on the client site, they must have: Australian Citizenship with current or ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance.
