About the Role:

We're seeking a Technical Business Analyst to play a key role in a major HRIS implementation and transformation program.

This role sits at the intersection of business process improvement, systems analysis, data, and integration delivery. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, project teams, vendors, and technical resources to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

This is not a generalist BA role. We need someone who understands enterprise systems, data structures, integrations, and the complexities of implementing HR platforms in large organisations.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discovery sessions
- Map and improve current and future-state business processes
- Analyse data, workflows, and system interactions to identify risks and opportunities
- Support solution design across HR, payroll, and related business systems
- Work closely with technical teams to define integration requirements and data flows
- Assess downstream impacts across systems, processes, and reporting
- Support testing, implementation, and business readiness activities





Essential Experience

- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
- Previous HRIS implementation experience within a complex organisation
- Strong business process analysis and process improvement experience
- Experience working with enterprise applications and system integrations
- Ability to understand and document API, interface, and data integration requirements
- Robust data analysis skills, including experience working with large and complex datasets
- Experience managing stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills

Highly Regarded

- Experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, Chris21 or similar HR platforms
- Experience working on digital transformation or ERP programs
- SQL and data querying experience
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
