We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Heatherton, Victoria. This part-time, permanent role is essential for providing high-quality support to our dental practitioners and ensuring a smooth operation within our practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and maintaining a protected and efficient environment in line with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage patient records and appointments, ensuring accurate documentation and scheduling.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient queries and ensuring comfort during treatments.




- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Assist in the management of dental supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a dental setting.
