Full Time Chef - Peachtree Hotel Penrith

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Peachtree Hotel in Penrith, NSW. The Peachtree Hotel, part of Marlow Hotel Group operates 7 days a week; 11:00am to 9pm and operates all traditional hotel facilities; bar, gaming, bistro, and retail. Marlow Hotel Group consists of 9 venues across Sydney, including The Mill Hotel (Milperra), Silverwater Hotel (Silverwater), Kings Park Tavern (Kings Park), Intersection tavern (Ramsgate) and more.

In this is a full time position at Peachtree Hotel, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, creative meals that delight our guests and enhance their overall dining experience.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes from our diverse menu
- Ensuring all meals are cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment in the kitchen
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with stock management and ordering of necessary supplies
- looking after the kitchen when the head chef is off





What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a hospitality or restaurant setting or looking to start your hospitality career.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Well Groomed individual
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities; punctuality and reliability
- A team player with robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
