Our client is a large national not-for-profit organisation with a purpose-driven culture. They have a workforce of over 17,000 people paid through SAP. Their SAP ECC 6.0 HCM/Payroll platform handles award and enterprise agreement conditions at scale, and they are planning a major SAP transformation, starting with S/4HANA and followed by SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.

The role

Reporting to the head of SAP delivery, you will be the product and system owner for SAP Payroll. You'll keep the platform stable, compliant and well supported today, and set it up well for the transformation ahead. You'll work with an in-house ABAP developer and an external AMS partner, and bring a commercial view to how the platform is run and where money is spent. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane with flexible hybrid working.

What you'll do

- Set the roadmap and prioritise the backlog for SAP Payroll
- Configure payroll schemas, PCRs and wage types, and manage transports
- Deliver legislative and award changes from impact assessment to go-live
- Lead incident, problem and root cause work with the AMS partner




- Prepare the platform and payroll data for the S/4HANA and ECP move

What you'll bring

- 5+ years' hands-on SAP ECC HCM/Payroll configuration and support
- Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types and integrations with SuccessFactors
- A track record of delivering legislative and award changes in SAP Payroll
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience managing AMS partners and vendors, with a commercial mindset

Nice to have: experience with the SuccessFactors talent modules, SAP certification in Payroll or SuccessFactors talent, and time on a payroll transformation or migration programme.
