Position: Forklift / Warehouse Operator
Duration: 6-week placement, with potential to extend
Roster: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00am - 6:00pm
Hourly Rate: $46.13 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operator to join our team at our packing shed yard in Nowra on an initial 6-week placement, with the possibility of the role continuing beyond this period.
We are ideally looking for someone local to the Nowra and surrounding areas who is reliable, committed and available to work the required roster.
About the role
This is a hands‑on warehouse and yard position, with duties including:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Moving and positioning stock around the packing shed and yard
- General warehouse and yard duties
- Maintaining a safe and organised work workplace
- Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth movement of goods
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current forklift licence
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Warehouse, yard or logistics experience
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good reliability and attendance
- The ability to work 12-hour day shifts and follow a roster
- Be local to Nowra or the surrounding areas
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
