Job Description

Must Have Skills:

- The candidate should havestrong experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including SDDC Manageradministration, workload domain management, lifecycle management, upgrades,and patching.
- Robust knowledge of VMwarevSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, DRS, HA, vMotion, and cluster administrationis essential.
- The individual should havehands-on experience with VMware vSAN, storage policies, capacity management,and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in NSX-Tnetworking, distributed switches, routing, network virtualization, andsecurity policies is required.
- The candidate should also possess experience in incident management, problem management, changemanagement, performance monitoring, health checks, and Linux administration.
- Knowledge of PowerCLI, PowerShell,and scripting for automation is highly desirable.

Nice to Have Skills:





- Experience with VMware Aria Operations (vROps),VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Logs (Log Insight), VMware Site RecoveryManager (SRM), VMware HCX, Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG), Kubernetes,Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting, AWS, Azure, OCI, Veeam, Rubrik,Commvault, Dell EMC storage, and Cisco networking would be beneficial. VMwarecertification and ITIL knowledge are considered an added advantage.

Detailed Job Description:

- We are seeking a skilled VCF Administrator (JL5) with 8+ years of experience in managing .
- The VCF Administrator will be responsible foradministering and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation environments, managingSDDC Manager operations, deploying and maintaining workload domains,performing infrastructure upgrades and patching activities, and ensuringplatform availability and performance.
- The role includes managing ESXi hosts, vCenterservers, virtual machines, vSAN storage clusters, and NSX-T networkingcomponents.
- Theadministrator will monitor infrastructure health, perform troubleshooting,resolve incidents, participate in change implementations, carry out capacityplanning, maintain operational documentation, and support disaster recoveryactivities.
- Additionally, the role involves implementingautomation using PowerCLI or PowerShell, supporting security and compliancerequirements, managing user access, and participating in audit activities toensure adherence to organizational standards.
