This role provides a vital social and activity outlet for our residents as well as forming a safe and welcoming place for families to spend time together.

At St Vincent's Care Services Toowoomba, we're dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating a welcoming community where residents feel at home. We are currently seeking an extraverted and customer-focused Cafe Barista to join our team and support the daily operations of our in office café. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is a skilled barista, looking to work between 9:00am – 3:00pm! Flexible Roster – Weekends also available.

Things that work for us

- Previous experience as a Barista in a café or hospitality environment
- Ability to consistently prepare high-quality coffee and beverages




- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask during busy periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

- Preparing and serving quality coffee, beverages and light refreshments
- Delivering exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors and staff
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment
- Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions accurately
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and replenishment
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
