Position Descriptor

The Leader - Technologies Years 7-12 provides curriculum and operational leadership across the Technologies learning area, with particular responsibility for Home Economics and Technical Studies. The role leads and supports staff to deliver high-quality, contemporary curriculum and pedagogy across Years 7-12, including pathways through the SA Curriculum and SACE.

The leader has responsibility for the effective coordination of the Home Economics and Technical Studies areas, including staff support and development, curriculum planning, facilities, resources, budgets and Work Health and Safety requirements. A key focus of the role is ensuring practical learning environments are safe, well managed and provide students with engaging opportunities to develop the knowledge,



skills and capabilities required for further learning, employment and life.

Please note that part time and adaptable arrangements will be considered.
