About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Production Efficiency Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance output in Queenstown . This role is vital for driving improvements in productivity, reducing operational costs, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety on the production floor. You will work closely with production teams to analyze workflows, implement lean methodologies, and troubleshoot issues that hinder efficiency. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze production lines to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

- Implement lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.

- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.
n
- Conduct time studies and work sampling to optimize man-machine interactions.
n




- Collaborate with supervisors and operators to implement and sustain process changes.
n
- Monitor production metrics and report on efficiency gains and cost savings.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
n
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production engineering or process improvement.
n
- Proven experience applying lean manufacturing principles.

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment.

- Effective communication skills for working with shop floor personnel.
