About the Role

Core Crew is seeking a talented and driven Mine Planner to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the safe and efficient planning of our mining operation. We're looking for someone with mine planning or production planning experience ready to take the next step, or a recent graduate keen to put their skills into an active mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and implementation of short-term and long-term mine plans and production schedules
- Liaise with operations, geology and survey to align plans with site conditions and reserves
- Assist in optimising mining methods, sequencing and equipment utilisation
- Prepare and analyse production data,



building KPI reports to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost estimation for planned works
- Participate in incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

- Experience in mine planning or production planning within mining or a related industry (recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered)
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, MineSched) and/or strong data tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python)
- A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
