About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Residential Architect to join their team in Queenstown . This role involves designing and managing residential projects from initial client consultations through to final construction. You will be responsible for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and code-compliant home designs tailored to client needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct client meetings to understand project requirements, vision, and budget.

- Develop detailed architectural designs, floor plans, and elevations for new homes and renovations.

- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and permit applications.
n
- Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers throughout the construction phase.

- Perform site visits to ensure construction quality and adherence to design intent.

Requirements

n

n
- Skilled qualification as an Architect.
n
- Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on residential architecture.
n
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
n
- Strong understanding of residential building codes, construction methods, and materials in South Africa.
n
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
