Early Childhood TeacherAldinga CampusPart time positionCommencing during Term 4, 2026*This is a temporary contract position for Term 4, 2026 until end Term 3, 2027 replacing a teacher on leave. The appointment is subject to the return of the substantive occupant and may conclude earlier.*

The successful applicant will be/have:

n

n
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent);
n
- Energetic and committed team member;
n
- Knowledgeable of NQF and EYLF, Inquiry Based Learning;
n
- Understanding of Reggio Emilia Approach and Nature Education;
n
- Nurturing and friendly interaction with children, dedicated to the pastoral care;
n
- Embrace and bring to life the ELC philosophy;
n
- Proactive in the use of emerging technologies in an ELC setting; and
n
- Lead and improve a high-quality educational program aligned with NQS and service values.
n
- Support educator growth through mentoring and reflective practice.
n




- Engage families in learning and decision-making to strengthen child development.
n
- Build community connections to foster belonging and citizenship.
n

The role includes:

- Allocated planning and assessment time off floor;
n
- Payment in the ordinary course for absences from the ELC during non-term weeks;
n
- Participation in the College's Professional Development and mentoring from AISSA and other agencies;
n
- Above regulations teacher-to-child ratios, with the support of Inclusion funding and additional educators to support child inclusion;
n
- A friendly, honourable and team-oriented team and continued professional growth.
