About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Remote Retail Data Analyst to provide key insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency. This fully remote role will involve collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the retail environment. Your analysis will directly inform strategic decision-making across various departments, including marketing, sales, and operations. The ideal candidate possesses solid quantitative skills, expertise in data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of retail data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights related to sales, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve sales, optimize inventory, and enhance customer engagement.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging data analysis techniques.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a remote setting.
