About the Role

Our client, a key player in the FMCG sector, is looking for a diligent and organized Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at their facility in Queenstown. This role is essential for ensuring the effective and safe handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, optimize workflows, and maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of warehouse management principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources to meet operational demands.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain safety standards.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety regulations and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.




- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in supervising a warehouse team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.
