About the Role

Due to planned staff leave, we are seeking applications from passionate, dynamic, and experienced Secondary Visual Arts Teachers for a 0.70 FTE fixed-term position spanning the 2027 academic year.

We are looking for an exemplary educator with a strong commitment to artistic excellence who can inspire junior and senior students alike. The ideal candidate will combine strong classroom leadership with deep technical expertise, with a strong preference for a ceramics specialist including wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing and kiln management,



to deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences within a vibrant Visual Arts faculty.

Key Responsibilities

- Delivery of 7-10 curriculum & pedagogy
- Art Studio Management and student guidance
- Pastoral Care & College Life

Active teaching accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) (or eligibility for registration).

Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.

Tertiary qualifications in Visual Arts Education or Fine Arts with a strong ceramics

Strong secondary school teaching experience.

Demonstrated experience in collaborative curriculum planning, assessment design and syllabus implementation (including the current NESA 7-10 syllabus).

Demonstrated experience in ceramics studio management, kiln safety and contemporary art practices.

Alignment with and support for our schools Anglican ethos and values.
