We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pre-Fabricated Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing pre-fabricated timber components and structures in a workshop or manufacturing environment, ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and cutting lists.
- Measure, mark, cut, and assemble timber and other building materials accurately.
- Construct pre-fabricated wall frames, wall components, panels, and other timber structures.
- Use hand and power tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and overall workmanship throughout the production process.
- Identify and rectify defects or construction issues before components leave the workshop.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe operating practices.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Collaborate with supervisors, carpenters, tradespeople, and production staff.

About you

- Previous experience in carpentry, framing or prefabricated building is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and work from construction drawings and plans.
- Competent use of carpentry hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of measurements, levels, angles, and construction methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to safely handle building materials.
- Robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Forklift License is required.
