Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Planner — Infrastructure Projects, Brisbane CBD based.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead cost planning, estimating, and contract administration across our infrastructure project pipeline — civil, transport, and utilities work delivered for state government clients. You’ll be the person the principal Contract Superintendents call when a variation needs addressing properly, not just quickly — and the one that the junior QS staff come to when they’re stuck. Reporting to Bellwether’s Estimating Lead, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio of tenders and delivery‑stage work, with scope to shape how the infrastructure commercial function runs.

What You’ll Bring

- AIQS membership, or eligible to obtain




- An AIQS accredited (or recognised) degree, min AQF Level 7
- Significant experience on TfNSW and/or TMR-administered contracts — MRTS specifications and standard contract forms (AS 4000, AS 4902), will be second nature
- Comfortable giving clients a robust, defensible cost position under scrutiny
- Comfortable mentoring junior QS staff and reviewing their work
