We are looking for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in estimating and detailed take-offs, combined with the organisational ability to coordinate procurement, project schedules with in multiple projects.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in construction estimating and detailed take-offs
- Buildertrend experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology, materials, trades and sequencing
- Experience working with high-end, customised or complex construction projects
- Strong procurement and supplier-management experience
- Experience developing and managing construction or production schedules
- The ability to read and interpret design, structural, engineering and construction documentation
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets and cost control
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work effectively with management, manufacturing teams, construction teams, suppliers and subcontractors
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Strong construction-management software skills
- Experience within modular or off-site construction would be highly regarded

This is a diverse and key position within the business, combining detailed construction estimating, procurement, project scheduling and coordination across our modular projects.

The Estimator / Procurement Manager will take responsibility for the estimating, procurement, planning and coordination required for the successful delivery of our high-end modular homes, working closely with our manufacturing and construction teams.

The role begins with detailed take-offs, estimating and project budgets and continues through procurement, production scheduling, subcontractor coordination and project delivery.

You will also play a key role in managing Buildertrend across the business, ensuring project information, procurement,



scheduling and workflows remain accurate, current and effective.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed construction estimates and material take-offs from project documentation
- Develop and maintain accurate project budgets and costings
- Obtain, review and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Manage procurement and ordering of materials, including supplier coordination, lead times and deliveries, to meet production requirements and project schedules
- Develop and manage complete project schedules from commencement through manufacturing, construction and completion, including the scheduling and coordination of trades, subcontractors and suppliers
- Work closely with the manufacturing and construction teams to ensure projects progress in accordance with program
- Monitor multiple projects concurrently and proactively identify potential cost, procurement or scheduling issues
- Manage purchase orders, variations and relevant project documentation
- Manage Buildertrend across estimating, procurement, scheduling and project delivery, ensuring project information, schedules and workflows remain accurate and current
- Monitor actual project costs and progress against original estimates, budgets and programme
- Review completed projects with management against original estimates, actual costs, budgets, programme and delivery timelines to ensure desired outcomes have been achieved and to identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of future projects
- Contribute to the ongoing development of systems and processes as Duncon Homes continues to grow
