About the Role

Our client is a global automation and material handling group with extensive international experience in automated vehicle-stacking technology. With a solid and established business that has operated in Australia for many years, they are now seeking a business leader to spearhead the expansion of their Australian car-stacking business.

The technology is well proven overseas. What's needed here is someone to build the local market, the relationships and the pipeline. With the backing of an international brand and its engineering expertise, the appointed candidate will own the Australian growth strategy for Automated Vehicle Storage Systems. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you will take major projects from early concept through to contract award and handover, with real ownership of how the business takes shape.

Specifically you will:

- Develop and execute the Australian growth strategy for Automated Vehicle Storage Systems.
- Build senior relationships with property developers, architects, consultants, engineers and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and develop major project opportunities at an early stage.
- Translate technical solutions into compelling commercial outcomes for customers.




- Lead opportunities from concept development through to contract award.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to support successful project delivery.
- Drive commercial performance, customer satisfaction and long-term customer relationships.
- Develop service, maintenance and lifecycle support opportunities.
- Strengthen the company's position in the Australian automated parking market.

About you

Your background could be in warehouse automation, material handling, vertical transportation, car stacking systems for similar. You have strong mechanical engineering competency, are comfortable building relationships with new customers and guiding existing ones through project delivery. You've also been looking for an opportunity - perhaps your first one - to take operational ownership of your own business vertical.

You are/have:

- Experience developing or growing a business, market or product segment.
- A strong track record in complex B2B or capital-project sales.
- Confidence engaging senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- The ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into customer value.
- Experience working across sales, engineering, project delivery and service.
- An entrepreneurial mindset combined with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.

As the person establishing this vertical in Australia, you will have string support from the existing domestic and international business with realistic expectations. It's a role that offers a rare opportunity to lead the build of a growing business area rather than inherit one.
