Accessibility Experience Lead | Inclusive Digital Design

Lead accessibility and inclusive design across complex digital products and services, shaping standards, testing practices, design systems and accessible user experiences within a major government digital delivery environment.

QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW

Work Arrangement

Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in the office, with flexible arrangements for the remaining 2 days

Contract Duration

12 months with 1 x 12-month extension option

Security Clearance Requirement

Must be able to obtain Baseline

Essential Tasks

- Lead accessibility and inclusive design practices across digital products and services.
- Establish and improve accessibility standards, guidance, testing and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with designers, developers and product teams on accessible interfaces, components and design systems.
- Lead accessibility testing with people with disability, assistive technology users and representative user groups.

Key Criteria





- Demonstrated leadership in accessibility, inclusive design or digital user experience within complex digital environments.
- Solid practical knowledge of accessibility standards, assistive technologies and inclusive design principles.
- Experience conducting accessibility reviews, testing and remediation with users and assistive technologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and build organisational capability.
