Our client is a leading commercial laundry company looking for reliable and physically capable Production Assistants to join their team in Footscray.

This is a hands-on role involving manual sorting, lifting, moving and repetitive work, including working in the driveway/production area. Experience in food production, waste sorting, manufacturing, warehousing, laundry, factory or labouring is highly suitable.

Duties include

- Sorting and handling linen and materials
- Moving and organising linen around the production area
- Feeding linen through industrial ironing machines
- Repetitive lifting, handling and standing throughout the shift
- Meeting daily production targets
- Maintaining a clean and secure work area

To be successful

- Physically capable and comfortable with repetitive manual work
- Reliable and hardworking
- Previous experience in food production or similar fast-paced environments
- Able to stand for long periods and meet production targets
- Own car/licence, or live within approximately 30 minutes of Footscray by public transport

- Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
