Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Welder for their fabrication workshop in Queenstown. This role involves joining metal components using various welding techniques to produce high-quality fabricated parts and structures. You will work from blueprints and specifications, ensuring all welds meet industry standards for strength and durability. The ideal candidate is proficient in different welding processes and safety procedures, committed to producing precise and robust work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding operations using processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding.
n
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
n
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and shaping.
n
- Ensure all welds are clean, strong, and meet required quality and safety standards.
n
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition.
n




- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE ).

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Welder with demonstrated proficiency in various welding techniques.

- Valid welding certifications (e.g., relevant trade test or industry-specific certifications).

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

- Strong understanding of metal properties and welding metallurgy.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to work independently and adhere to production schedules.
