RX Active Health is looking for an experienced Gym Manager to take ownership of the growth and performance of our fitness services.

You’ll lead growth across our established 24/7 gym, group training and personal training services, while helping launch and scale our upcoming Reformer Pilates and expanded recovery offering.

This isn’t a role where you simply maintain what already exists.

We want someone who can look at the numbers, identify an opportunity, make a decision, take action and drive the result.

You’ll have clear targets, genuine ownership and direct access to the business owners — with the autonomy to influence how we grow.

RX Active Health brings together fitness, physiotherapy, allied health, recovery and performance within one premium health and fitness destination.

Our gym already has an established membership base and community.

Now we’re expanding.

With a new facility, Reformer Pilates, increased group training capacity, expanded recovery services and greater opportunities to connect members across multiple services, the next stage is about turning that potential into measurable growth.

You won’t be sitting behind a desk waiting for enquiries to arrive.

You’ll work directly with our Directors and Operations Manager and receive training from one of the world’s leading gym and fitness sales and business experts.

STRONG EARNING POTENTIAL WITH CLEAR REWARDS

You’ll receive a $70,000 base salary plus a transparent, structured performance bonus.

Achieving your agreed KPIs would bring your total annual earnings to $110,000.

You’ll know how each target is measured and how your contribution to membership growth, retention and revenue translates into pay.

This isn’t a vague discretionary bonus.

There will be a scoreboard.

Deliver the results and share in the upside.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

MEMBERSHIP GROWTH & SALES

You’ll take responsibility for growing our membership base and improving the performance of our sales process.

You’ll:

- Respond quickly to new enquiries and leads
- Pick up the phone and confidently start conversations
- Follow prospects until there is a clear outcome




- Conduct high-quality facility tours and consultations
- Understand what each person wants to achieve
- Recommend the right service and confidently ask for the sale
- Improve enquiry-to-tour, show and conversion rates
- Generate new opportunities through referrals, partnerships, events and local connections
- Identify where leads are being lost and improve the process

You should enjoy sales.

Not pushy sales. Not scripts for the sake of scripts.

Good conversations, clear recommendations and confident follow-through.

REVENUE & SERVICE GROWTH

You’ll think beyond simply increasing gym memberships.

You’ll help grow participation and revenue across:

You’ll understand the numbers, identify opportunities and turn ideas into action.

REFORMER PILATES LAUNCH

You’ll play an important role in bringing our new Pilates offering to market.

You’ll help:

- Build pre-launch interest
- Generate and follow up leads
- Convert enquiries into founding members
- Create a strong launch experience
- Establish an engaged Pilates community
- Drive ongoing utilisation and growth

You won’t just inherit this service.

You’ll help build it.

MEMBER RETENTION & COMMUNITY

Growth means very little if people leave as quickly as they join.

You’ll take ownership of creating an experience people want to stay part of.

You’ll:

- Deliver a strong new-member onboarding experience
- Build genuine relationships with members
- Monitor attendance and engagement
- Identify members who are starting to disengage
- Reconnect with members before they cancel
- Manage cancellation and retention conversations
- Drive referrals and reviews
- Build greater community engagement

TEAM LEADERSHIP

You’ll be a visible leader.

You’ll:

- Set clear expectations
- Hold standards consistently
- Support and develop the gym team
- Give direct, respectful feedback when something needs to improve
- Create accountability without unnecessary drama

You’ll maintain the standard expected of a premium health and fitness facility.

- Facility presentation
- Member experience
- Cleanliness and organisation

- Safety and operational standards

If something isn’t working, we want someone who notices it and acts — not someone who waits to be told.

YOU’LL HAVE A SCOREBOARD

This is a results-driven role with clear expectations.

Your performance will be measured across areas including:

- Membership growth
- Revenue growth
- New membership sales
- Lead response and follow-up
- Consultation and tour bookings
- Show rates
- Sales conversion
- Member retention
- Cancellation and re-engagement
- Growth across additional services




- Team and facility standards

We’ll agree on the targets.

You’ll have visibility over the numbers.

And you’ll have the opportunity to influence how we achieve them.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You may already be a successful Gym Manager, or you may be an experienced fitness sales, membership or club leader ready to take the next step.

Either way, we want someone who can demonstrate results.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Proven experience in the gym or fitness industry
- A track record of achieving membership or sales targets
- Strong lead follow-up and sales conversion skills
- Confidence conducting tours and sales consultations
- Experience with member onboarding, retention and re-engagement
- Experience leading or coordinating a team
- Strong commercial awareness
- Confidence working with KPIs, CRMs, membership systems and performance data
- High personal standards and strong follow-through

Experience growing group training, personal training, Pilates or multi-service fitness offerings will be highly regarded.
