Production Workers / Labourers – Timber manufacturing / assembly

Spectra Recruitment is currently hiring Production Workers/Labourers in Morningside to join a rapid-growing timber manufacturing team and start consistent, ongoing work.

$33.38 – $35.15 per hour + overtime available

Hours

Monday–Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm

Friday: 6:30am–12:30pm (early finish)

Location

Morningside, QLD

Key duties

- Assemble timber trusses for floor and roof systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, nail guns, bandsaws, drop saws, and other workshop equipment
- Measure, position, and secure timber components
- Follow production drawings and work instructions
- Perform manual handling and lifting duties as part of a team

Skills and experience

- Previous experience in timber manufacturing, production assembly, sawmill operations or a similar environment is highly desirable
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
