About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Wait Staff member to join our team at Cafe Enzo in Pokolbin. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. As a member of our wait staff, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating positive interactions with customers and maintaining the high standards of service that define Cafe Enzo. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team in a popular regional destination.

What you'll be doing

Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant procedures

Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings

Taking accurate customer orders and relaying them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, adhering to food safety and presentation standards

Addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring customer satisfaction

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs and service stations

Processing payments and managing transactions with accuracy and professionalism

Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery during peak and quiet periods





Restocking supplies and assisting with table setups throughout shifts

Adhering to health and safety regulations and cafe policies at all times

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a waiting or hospitality service role, with a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members

Excellent attention to detail, particularly when taking orders and serving food and beverages

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items safely during busy service times

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays

Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment

Basic understanding of food and beverage products, with willingness to learn and develop knowledge

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively during service periods

A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one is advantageous
