About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Community Outreach Coordinator to enhance engagement and service delivery in Queenstown . This role is responsible for building strong relationships with community members, understanding their needs, and connecting them with the organization's programs and resources. You will develop and implement outreach strategies, organize community events, and serve as a key liaison between the organization and the local population in the Eastern Cape . This is an exciting opportunity to drive positive social impact and foster community development through effective engagement and program promotion.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute outreach strategies to increase awareness and participation in organizational programs.
- Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and information sessions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and residents.




- Gather feedback from the community to inform program development and service improvements.
- Represent the organization at community meetings and events, acting as a primary point of contact.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or program coordination.
- Strong understanding of the social and economic landscape of the Eastern Cape region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and travel within the community as needed.
