About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a primary focus on supporting operations that may include or originate from areas such as Queenstown . You will be instrumental in managing and optimizing daily logistics activities, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, inventory management, and carrier relations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and excellent communication skills, capable of excelling in a virtual environment. This position is key to maintaining operational efficiency and driving improvements across our client's logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including shipment coordination, tracking, and issue resolution.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, external carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure optimal stock management.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies,



and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related operational role.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
