We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Year Coordinator for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Baldivis SC is currently seeking to establish a pool of highly experienced, dynamic, innovative, and proactive Teacher - Year Coordinators to join our whole school Student Support team.

The Year Coordinator works collaboratively with the onsite allied support team and wider school staff and community to promote the wellbeing of each student. They support the school in maintaining a positive learning environment where each students’ physical, social, intellectual, and emotional development is fostered, and our students thrive.

In collaboration with the Deputy Principal and Heads of Student Services,



Year Coordinators review behaviour support processes and lead the implementation of a streamlined MTSS framework that is applied effectively and consistently by the whole school. You will work proactively and promote a sense of belonging for all students, work restoratively to resolve conflict, and participative decision-making resulting in improved community relationships and whole school regular attendance.

Eligibility

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
