About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Procurement Specialist to join our growing procurement function in Australia. The role will be responsible for managing procurement activities across a diverse range of operational, supply chain and corporate service categories, while supporting the development of effective supplier management and procurement processes nationally.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the internal Procurement team, the Senior Procurement Specialist will manage end-to-end sourcing activities, supplier evaluation and performance management, commercial negotiations, contract renewals and cost optimisation initiatives.

This role will also provide procurement guidance and support to regional teams, helping to promote consistent procurement practices, strengthen supplier relationships and manage procurement risks across the business. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial judgement,



negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities, together with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate and execute procurement activities across multiple categories including supply chain and operations, general and professional services
- Manage procurement activities from requirements identification and supplier sourcing through to negotiation, contract execution and supplier performance monitoring
- Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, onboarding and qualification, evaluation and selection, performance management, remediation and supplier exit
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement appropriate corrective action and supplier improvement or replacement measures where required
- Review expiring contracts and lead renewal negotiations, including cost analysis and commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Establish and maintain market price monitoring and supplier benchmarking mechanisms to support competitive pricing and informed procurement decisions
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities while maintaining appropriate quality and service standards
- Work closely with Operations, HR,



Administration, Finance, Legal, IT and other departments to respond to and fulfil procurement and supply chain requirements efficiently
- Provide guidance to regional procurement teams on procurement policies, processes and methodologies, while supporting consistent procurement practices across Australia
- Support the establishment and continuous improvement of national procurement and supplier management processes and frameworks

About you

- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline is preferred
- At least 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with experience in logistics, express delivery, e-commerce, supply chain or a related industry
- Experience managing multiple procurement categories and end-to-end procurement processes is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in supplier sourcing, qualification, evaluation and performance management
- Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiation, supplier performance management, contract risk assessment and cost analysis
- Solid analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess market pricing, supplier quotations and cost structures
- Strong cross-functional communication, stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and drive procurement initiatives through to completion
