Master Scheduler – Major Financial Services Organisation

An prospect for an experienced Master Scheduler to support a large-scale transformation portfolio within a major financial services environment.

The role will own the development and ongoing management of the integrated master schedule, working closely with Project and Program Managers to provide visibility across milestones, dependencies, resource constraints and delivery risks.

You’ll play a key role in identifying potential schedule impacts early, improving delivery forecasting and providing clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

- Develop and maintain detailed integrated master schedules across complex programs of work.
- Partner with Project and Program Managers to manage schedules, milestones and delivery plans.i>
- Monitor critical paths, late and upcoming tasks, resource utilisation and other indicators of schedule risk.
- Maintain schedule integrity by coordinating regular inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide progress reporting, forecasting and management information to senior stakeholders.
- Identify,



map and track cross-project and external dependencies.
- Support project teams in proactively identifying delivery challenges and schedule impacts.
- Establish scheduling controls and frameworks to improve delivery governance.
- Support financial and resource tracking through the master schedule where required.

Essential Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience as a Master Scheduler across large, complex programs.
- Strong experience within banking, financial services, wealth, funds management or similarly regulated environments.
- Advanced MS Project and JIRA capability.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end project and program delivery lifecycles.
- Demonstrated experience with critical path analysis, dependencies, schedule risk and delivery forecasting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical capability.
- Intermediate to advanced Confluence and MS Office skills.
- Enterprise PMO experience highly regarded.
- Experience within custody, securities, funds management or back-office financial services environments advantageous.
