We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Attendant to join our team in Millers Forest, NSW. This is a part-time, Casual or Full time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the health, wellbeing and comfort of the animals in our care. As an Animal Attendant, you will be responsible for daily animal husbandry duties and contribute to maintaining the high standards of care that define our organisation. This role offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst making a meaningful difference in animal welfare.

Key responsibilities

- Providing daily feeding and hydration to animals, ensuring appropriate portions and dietary requirements are met
- Cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures, shelters and living spaces to the highest hygiene standards
- Monitoring animal health and behaviour, reporting any concerns or unusual signs to senior staff immediately
- Assisting with general facility maintenance and organisation of supplies and equipment

What we're looking for

- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing excellent care standards
- Previous experience working with animals, whether in a professional or volunteer capacity
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual duties including lifting,



cleaning and movement around the facility
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures consistently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on their own and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality, with a flexible approach to part-time scheduling
- A valid driver's license and reliable transport to the Millers Forest location
- Willingness to undertake training in animal handling, health and safety, and animal welfare best practices
- Desirable: Experience in veterinary clinics, animal shelters, farms or similar animal care environments
