An chance has become available for the services of an experienced Orderman / Load checker to support our busy Timber and Hardware Despatch Yard. We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join this team. Previous experience is preferred. The role is 38 hrs a week Monday to Friday, no late nights or weekends. Must have a forklift licence.

This role is key to ensuring stock accuracy, smooth despatch operations, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Orderman / Load Checker
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Receipt and check incoming stock for accuracy and damage
n
- Assist with door and hardware order assembly
n
- Ensure customer orders are correctly picked, packed, and loaded
n
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal staff
n
- Answer phones and emails
n
- Maintain accurate records and ERP transactions
n
- Support stock organisation and storage
n
- Follow WH&S; procedures
n
n
About You
n
n
- Administration experience with strong computer skills (ERP experience preferred)
n
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
n
- Experience in the building or timber industry highly regarded
n
- Must have the right to work in Australia without conditions
n
n
