About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team in Queenstown . This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of embedded electrical systems within our cutting-edge products. You will be responsible for everything from circuit design and component selection to firmware integration and system testing. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop embedded electrical systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
- Integrate microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces into embedded solutions.
- Collaborate with software/firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems, including functional, performance, and environmental testing.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and firmware issues.




- Contribute to the definition of system architecture and technical specifications for new embedded products.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in embedded systems design and development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems hardware design and development.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad).
- Experience with microcontroller-based systems (e.g., ARM Cortex, ESP32) and common peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART).
- Familiarity with firmware development tools and debugging techniques.
- Strong understanding of analog circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
