Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking experienced Control Room / Elution Operator to join our client’s gold processing operation FIFO Roster 8/6.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced processing operators with strong control room / elution experience within a gold processing environment.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely monitoring and operating the processing plant from the control room, as well as carrying out elution and gold recovery operations in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the processing plant from the Control Room;
- Monitor plant performance and make operational adjustments as required;
- Operate and monitor elution circuits;
- Conduct routine plant inspections and identify process issues;
- Monitor alarms, trends and process parameters;
- Respond to process upsets and assist with troubleshooting;
- Complete plant sampling and operational checks;
- Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures;




- Work closely with field operators and other processing personnel;
- Maintain accurate production and shift records.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Control Room Operator in a gold processing plant;
- Strong elution experience;
- Gold processing experience highly regarded;
- Good understanding of CIL/CIP and associated processing circuits;
- Ability to troubleshoot process issues and respond to plant upsets;
- Strong safety awareness;
- Positive communication and teamwork skills;
- Current tickets and qualifications relevant to the role.
