Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Yard Hand to join our client’s team. FIFO Roster 7/7.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous yard, warehouse, logistics or mining experience who is looking for a hands-on role in a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general yard duties, including cleaning, organising and maintaining equipment;
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, materials and equipment;
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as required;
- Carry out basic maintenance and general upkeep tasks;
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard;
- Assist with stock and equipment movements;
- Follow all site safety procedures and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards;




- Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a Yard Hand, Warehouse, Logistics or similar role;
- Current Forklift (LF) Licence – essential;
- HR Driver’s Licence – desirable;
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
- Reliable, punctual and willing to undertake a range of general duties;
- Previous mining or industrial experience highly regarded.
